Engy Ghozlan

Engy Ayman Ghozlan (Arabic: إنجي أيمن غزلان) (born March 5, 1985 in Cairo, Egypt) was the Project Coordinator for the Egyptian Centre for Women's Rights and is famous for her activism in campaigns against sexual harassment. Having obtained a bachelor of Mass Communication from Cairo University in 2007, Ghozlan decided to appropriately use her academic experience of media in planning for campaigns such as "Safe Street For All" which got in the spotlight across 2008 leading her to become a familiar face in TV interviews and press statements. As well as her mother tongue, Arabic, Ghozlan speaks both English and French. She is now the co-founder of HarassMap website which collects data about sexual harassment in Egypt.
